I am Senior Researcher in Computational Earthquake Physics in the Institute of Geophysics at ETH Zürich.

I was previously a postdoctoral researcher working with Nadia Lapusta and Jean-Philippe Avouac in the Seismological Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). I hold a Ph.D. in Geophysics from ETH Zurich, where I was advised by Taras Gerya and Ylona van Dinther.

My research focuses in the areas of computational mechanics of geomaterials, fault mechanics, earthquake source processes, fundamentals of friction and shear zones, and solid-fluid interactions.
