I am Senior Researcher in Computational Earthquake Physics in the Institute of Geophysics at ETH Zürich.

I was previously a postdoctoral researcher working with Nadia Lapusta and Jean-Philippe Avouac in the Seismological Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). I hold a Ph.D. in Geophysics from ETH Zurich, where I was advised by Taras Gerya and Ylona van Dinther.

I am broadly interests in geophysics and computational mechanics. My work aims to understand the interplay between long-term tectonics and earthquake source processes. To do so, I develop and apply cross-scale modeling techniques to bridge tectonic space–time scales of lithosphere dynamics and crustal deformation with seismic space–time scales of rapid and localized earthquake source processes.
